Name of dead cyclist is released

The cyclist who died after being struck by a lorry on the outskirts of Belfast was Patrick O'Hara from the Antrim Road in Glengormley.

The accident happened on Enterprise Way in Mallusk at about 0530 GMT on Thursday.

Mr O'Hara, 43, died in hospital. The police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them.

The death brings to 91 the number of people who have been killed on Northern Ireland's roads so far this year.
